Hey Period! — City of Boston Menstrual Equity Campaign

Role: Lead Photographer & Creative Collaborator
Client: City of Boston Women’s Advancement Office

The “Hey Period!” campaign marked a multi-year public health initiative aimed at breaking menstrual stigma and expanding access to period care citywide. I was brought in as a lead creative to visually interpret the campaign’s mission through storytelling that was inclusive, affirming, and culturally resonant.

Through a mix of portraiture, candid visuals, and campaign-ready assets, I helped translate complex public health messaging into imagery that invited empathy and sparked dialogue. Working closely with the Women’s Advancement Office, I captured both the emotion and urgency behind the movement, ensuring every photo honored the voices and communities at its core.

This work reflects my belief that visual storytelling can shift narratives, build awareness, and empower collective change.
