Femme Flo Part II — A Celebration of Legacy Through Poetic Voice

Role: Photographer & Visual Storyteller
Collaboration: Femme Flo Collective

Femme Flo Part II was a gathering of femme poets honoring legacy — past, present, and future — through language, art, and shared space. Rooted in ritual and creative expression, the event created room for stories to unfold, voices to rise, and generations of femme energy to meet in reverence and celebration.

As the photographer, I was there to preserve the emotion of the evening — the way words wrapped around the room, how softness and strength coexisted, how legacy lived not just in performance but in presence. I captured portraits, quiet exchanges, and powerful expressions that echoed the event’s intention: to affirm that our stories matter and our creativity is sacred.

This experience reminded me that storytelling isn’t always visual or verbal — sometimes it’s a frequency. And being trusted to document that kind of frequency is something I don’t take lightly.
